"Die Platte" ist die umgangssprachliche Bezeichnung der Plattenbauten in Hohenschönhausen. Diese sollen am kommenden 1.Mai an der "Bunten Platte", dem Mai-fest der Hohenschönhausener im Mittelpunkt stehen. Der ganze Bezirk Lichtenberg, Politiker aus dem EU Parlament und vieles mehr wird sich da zum fröhlichen und "bunten" Miteinander treffen. Auch wir als Bibelgemeinde werden uns mit unseren Geschwistern aus der ECG (Evangeliums Christen Gemeinde) dazugesellen. Wir werden an einem Stand Basteln für Kinder, Traktate und Musik anbieten. Bitte betet für diesen weiteren Evangelisationseinsatz ... viele sind noch geplant für diesen Sommer.

"Die Patte" "the slab" is the colloquial expression for the typical prefabricated industrialized appartment buildings, of which there are many in our district in Hohenschönhausen (means high beautiful Buildings ;)) ... These will be the focal point this coming thursday at the "bunte Platte" (colorful slab) celebration or city festival. The whole district will come together. Politicians from the EU parlament and many other people will meet for a "colorful mix" and celebrate together. We will be part of this as well. The Biblechurch Berlin, together with another local assembly will share two tables. We will offer crafts for children, handing out tracts and play some music again. Please pray for this evangelistic outreach event... many more are planned for this summer.
